Buffalo Hydraulic has been awarded a contract to design and build 24 custom load cells to accurately determine cargo loads in modified C-17 Globemaster III's.
With a maximum load capacity of 170,900 and at a cost of over $220m this massive jet has proved it's worth in a multitude of tasks ranging from domestic fire fighting support, Katrina rescue & relief to ongoing missions of troop & supply transportation in Afghanastan & Iraq.
This project was very successful and was completed on a very tight delivery schedule along with extensive written detailed testing certification!
